DC was able to take a complex set of requirements for learning the Free Realms trading card game and distill it into a demo that's easy to understand and use. That piece of user interface of an application is the surface of interaction between the end user.

Goodbye Blogger, Hello Tumblr
By playgrounds.dk at 16:15 on Tuesday, January 29, 2008
I've been testing and trying out the tumblr.com blogging engine for a while now and I must admit, that I think this application suits me better. It's a matter of frequency, content, volume and relevance and tumblr.com just seems to be the right choice for me. :-)- So as of today, I will no longer be using blogger.com for my Playgrounds.dk blog. But I promise you that on my new blog, you will find much more great stuff and fantastic inspiration
- I will try this new application out and see if it works out for me - if not, blogger will be my backup plan
- I will be redirecting http://www.playgrounds.dk to http://playgrounds.tumblr.com in a little while.

Maxthon - yet another browser experience for you...
By playgrounds.dk at 13:15 on Tuesday, January 22, 2008
This browser is extremely popular in many parts of Asia and I've tried it out myself and so far I have no complaints, no errors, major bugs. It's based on the exact same technology as IE, so what ever features and functionalities you might find in IE, will also be available to you in Maxthon - plus more! This browser is very customizable and makes it easy to create which ever short cut you may wish for as well as the appropriate action... gotta love it! :-)
Here's a short list of some of the features besides tabbed browsing, automatic fill in, feed readers, Google search, pop-up blocking, sniffing etc.:
- Anti-Freeze (increasing usage of Ajax Technology in websites might cause frequent freezing)
- Undo (Undo closing a tab by mistake)
- Mouse Gestures (right-click to draw on screen for illustration/presentation etc.)
- URL Alias (Type in custom made names in the address bar)
- Screen Capture (With many great features)

Your software is rich in characteristics, but what sense would it make if your end-user had to lookup a user manual on 'understanding the interface'? Your software is robust, scalable and the architecture lying beneath it is phenomenal, but what sense does it make if it is not 'user friendly' ?
