Guess I just had to explain why I haven´t really been active in here for the past week or so (maybe even more).
Well, the reason is simple: I´ve been working non-stop for the past 2 weeks or so - 70 hours a week is more than enough for me, so I haven´t really had the time to sit down and focus on my blog - sorry!
Eating not only breakfast, but lunch, dinner AND snack at night at work is really not that charming, but at the moment a necessity!

At this very moment, I´m laying in shorts only on the top of our appartments in the burning sun - it´s Saturday, 17:25 local time P.M. in Copenhagen, Denmark and I´ve just hooked up on a wireless network connection!
Next to me is an empty pizza box, a bottle of cold beer (Carlsberg) and some cigarettes just in case. :) In just a moment, my girlfriend will join me as well as two of our very close friends. Could it get much better than this, I ask?
I would have provided you with some evidence of my being here, but my phone wouldn´t connect through bluetooth to transfer a few summer images so you will just have to imagine...
Have a great weekend!

Last nights concert with Mr. Bublé was by far one of the best concert experiences I´ve ever had with a live band! Don´t get me wrong - I´ve seen plenty shows and concerts and just about each time, I had the same feeling: This was the best ever!
But now I can honestly say, that what Michael Bublé and his 13-man orchestra put up last night at K.B. Hallen, which by the way is a very poor starting point, was simply an amazing show! Given the circumstances of a vast, cold concerthall with chairs only (no standing up allowed) and tons of guards making sure, you don´t bounce too much or actually start dancing,
Michael Bublé turned this evening into his place - regardless of the rules and restrictions provided by the K.B. Hallen administration.
It was obvious from the very moment he entered the stage, that the concept of having a big band swing concert, should NOT include chairs at all!!! People (including myself) really just had the urge to dance and party, but instead, we were all forced to sit tight on these uncomfortable wooden chairs, closely sqeezed into this concerthall. Now, hopefully K.B. Hallen learned their lesson last night, because it was literally impossible to sit there, calm and quite, pretending not to be moved by the vivid atmosphere on stage. No doubt, that Michael Bublé feels home on a stage - obviously anywhere - and with more than 10 years of experience, he really had a way of connecting and talking to and with the crowd. Unlike regular rock concerts, he used all the time available, including the time between each song, which he turned into just as big a part of the entire show, as the actual songs themselves. He did exactly what he should do as an entertainer.
In just a matter of minuttes you suddenly had the feeling, that you´ve knowned this guy for centuries, as if he was just a friend of yours - and a damn funny one too. I think this also made the experience complete, as it was not just the music, which was fabulous by the way, but also his performance and capability of connecting, which really appealed to the crowd. He was and is a fresh, new spark into an old history and generation of the very cool and laid back Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin style who may have had less self-irony and humour.
This blog is not really for rating, but if I was the judge I would not hessitate to give him 10 out of 10, for that gig. After all, he did win the Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards 2006! Interpret how you like :)

Tonight, I´m going to see/hear
Michael Bublé at K.B. Hallen with my girlfriend. I´m expecting an amazing show together with his 13-man orchestra. The theme will be Hollywood meets Canada-crooning, wet, bigshot music in the spirit of Mr. Frank Sinatra - or something like that!
Show starts in:And tomorrow, I´m doing something totally different. I´m going out with 9 friends to a nice restaurant and afterwards, we´re going to see the infamous
"Anden På Coke" stand-up show! "Anden", which means "The Duck", is the infamous danish comedian Anders Mattesen and they show is called "The Duck on coke", whatever that means!?!
He is more than well-known in Denmark after a long career of comic shows on TV, radio, internet as well as music and the award-winning cartoon
"Terkel I Knibe" and lots more...people either love or hate him:
I love him!So I´m very exited to see, what he´s got for us this time...Eventhough I haven´t seen his latest show yet, I can strongly recommend him, should you ever
come to Denmark. His style is uncensored, unpolite, dirty, totally hysterical and absolutely funny! :)

Concert begins in:Tomorrow´s the day, where Mr. Bublé performs at
K.B. Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark with his 13 man-band orchestra! Yes, I know - I´ve attended quite a few concerts and stand-up shows lately, but when I spend most of my day sitting on my behind infront of this PC, I really enjoy doing something else on my blessed weekends. And don´t acuse me of having a narrowminded taste in music, please. From hardcore techno one day to Hollywood bigband crooner music the next day... :)
So, me and my girlfriend are going and it´s gonna be awesome! We´ve decided to dress up a bit you know - live out the high-society crooner lifestyle with fancy dresses and suits, huge dinner, lots of cocktails and hopefully some fabulous music as well - just my way of spending a Fridag evening :)
